The story of the Köfteci Ramiz brand is the story of two orphaned brothers who migrated from Macedonia to Türkiye at the start of the 19th century. Having lost their mother in infancy and with their father taken prisoner in the Battle of Çanakkale, the brothers settled in Akhisar, a district of the Aegean. There they served grilled meatballs in the style they had learned in Macedonia, alongside a special flatbread made from fresh-yeast dough. They opened their first shop in 1928 in Akhisar — a tiny place with four tables. After Ramiz Usta passed away in 1970, his four sons continued to keep their father's name alive. In 2000 they opened their second branch, again in Akhisar, on the İzmir–İstanbul highway. That second branch became a springboard, and in 2006 the first İstanbul branch opened in Levent Çarşı. The Köfteci Ramiz brand continues to grow, today with 150 branches in 31 provinces. Our brand prepares carefully selected meat using a special technique that has been in our family since 1928, sends it daily and unfrozen from a single centre to all our branches, and serves it to our guests through staff we train continuously — which is what allows the very same taste to be achieved at every Köfteci Ramiz location. Using no intermediate substances that would lower product quality or endanger human health is an indispensable element of our business ethics. Our first priority is customer satisfaction, and the most important principle we have adopted to that end is that we do our work with love. Doing our work with such devotion, we wanted our restaurant automation system to come from a brand that loves its work at least as much as we do: one that knows the sector's needs, that is simple, secure, able to answer every operational requirement and able to keep up with our pace. Green Salads, which developed the first long-plate concept design in Türkiye, began operating at Airport AVM in 2008 under the leadership of Remzi Gedik.
