How does robotPOS pricing work?
Every product has four components. Licence fee: a one-off payment granting a perpetual right to use the software. Monthly usage fee: a subscription covering cloud infrastructure, updates and new features, charged per branch per month for most products. Installation & commissioning: a one-off fee covering setup, configuration, user definition and training. Support fee: a monthly fee for 7x16 technical support and maintenance.
Before you compare prices: architecture is the most critical factor
The low monthly price of cloud-based products looks attractive; but for a restaurant the most critical decision is not price — it is the architecture. The risk is not only an internet outage at the branch: on a fully cloud-dependent POS, central cloud outages that happen once or a few times a year — a global service outage, a cyber attack, bandwidth throttling or a central software fault on the cloud side — can halt sales at every branch at once, for hours.
Reporting, inventory, loyalty and central management are all cloud-based, providing access from anywhere and consolidation across branches.
The POS application is deliberately built on a hybrid architecture: sales run locally without interruption and data is synchronised intelligently to the cloud. Sales continue even during a central cloud outage.

Are robotPOS monthly fees charged per branch?
Yes. For products such as aiR Intelligence, air Inventory, air-CRM, reservation manager, operation manager, franchise manager, QR Menu, Kiosk Menu and Web Order, the monthly usage fee is charged per branch per month. Volume pricing is available for multi-branch businesses.
Is there a robotPOS installation fee?
Some products carry a USD 250 one-off installation and commissioning fee (air Inventory, reservation manager, operation manager, online current account management, franchise manager). For air-CRM the installation fee is not fixed — it requires analysis. No installation fee is charged for aiR Intelligence, QR Menu, Kiosk Menu and Web Order.
What is the air POS licence fee?
air POS licence fees are list prices by terminal type: Main User Licence USD 1,950, Additional User Terminal Licence USD 750, Mobile Terminal Licence USD 450, KDS Terminal Licence USD 450 (all one-off). The same pricing policy as Infinia applies to monthly usage, installation and support fees.
Do robotPOS prices include VAT?
No. All published prices are list prices excluding VAT. Discounts may apply for bulk licences, multiple branches and custom packages; contact us for a quote tailored to your business.
